Welcome to KSNG911
Learning Center
The Kansas 911
Coordinating Council is asking that each user of the KSNG911 System take five
critical courses tailored to enhance the proficiency of Kansas
Hosted Solution users. The end users will gain knowledge designed to
significantly improve their performance on the hosted solution and enable them
to utilize the system to its fullest potential. Following the successful
completion of these critical courses, the user will gain unlimited access to
the catalog.
Additionally,
the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council is making available a course catalog
intended for, and participation is restricted to, users of the Kansas 911
Hosted Solution. Participating in the course catalog is strictly
voluntary.
The
implementation and use of the methods acquired during any of these training
fall within the purview of the local agency and end user. It
is incumbent upon them to ensure that these methods are properly integrated
into daily operations. This responsibility is vital for the successful
application of the techniques learned in the training courses.
The
Kansas 911 Coordinating Council, along with its representatives and the authors
of the enclosed training, will not be held liable for any special, incidental,
indirect, or consequential damages of any kind that may arise from or be
connected to the access or use of the services provided within this training
platform. It is important to note that the Council, its representatives, and
authors have taken all necessary measures to ensure that the information
contained within the platform is accurate and up to date to the best of their
knowledge. However, users should always exercise their own discretion and
judgment when utilizing the training content and recognize the training
catalog should not be considered a comprehensive education for processing emergency
calls. Instead, these courses are intended to serve as supplementary resources
to augment the knowledge of end-users and a local training program. It is
recommended that PSAPs seek guidance from their legal counsel before
implementing training.
